While my heart may still be in Cali, my appetite was definitely at Arta Monjazeb's house tonight.
I would like to give some recognition to Arta's culinary abilities as well as his hospitality. While his wife Mitra is out of the country, he invited a couple of us "lonely hearts" to his house for a four course meal.
Portabello mushroom risotto, squash soup, roasted lamb, and tiramasu. The names don't do them justice.
Simply divine.
